New Music – OGO – Adeleye
Born to Nigerian parents who had migrated from Ilorin to Lagos, this young man has come to make music gospel music his own way of life though he is graduate of Civil Engineering. He is a trained and certified musician/choir director and a versatile vocalist with twenty years of musicianship experience; playing out regularly in many original gospel music projects in Lagos, his city of birth.
He possesses certificates from Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) and the Associated Board of Royal School of Music (ABRSM), UK. An individual with an extensive knowledge in music production and a strong advocate of creative gospel music, he is the composer/arranger and producer of such songs as “send the rain” written by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo of the KICC, “dry season is over” and the “wazobia praise,” [to mention a few] all of which are tracks in the debut album of the KICC Lagos choir album released in 2012. As an artiste, his style is a blend of “Naija” beats with synchronized western melodic style
His new single titled “Ogo” which means glory was borne out of his inspiration and matching experiences from the Word of God which reveals the whole essence of human existence on the face of the earth. He is married to hisfriend and soulmate Modupe Adebayo, a Biochemist, a lover of God and a supporter of his vision and ministry. This is the whole premise on which he projects his musical identity.
