Shégun Releases New Music “You are God”.
Art-Dome Limited, a production house with focus on building and promoting indigenous music and artistes, presents a Shégun as he debuts into the Nigerian music scene with “You are God”. Shégun is a gifted musician who has been around music circles for a while. Hi first dose of the spotlight came while he was a lead vocalist at Winners Chapel, Kubwa, Abuja, and Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).He is particularly known for his tonal quality and precision vocal gymnastics. Shégun is also a fantastic bass guitarist, and with his tools of music he tutors and is seen as mentor to many including the National Christian Corpers’ Fellowship (NCCF) Lagos choir and Daystar Youth Fellowship choir. He serves at Daystar Christian Centre, Lagos.
The song “You are God” is a celebration of God based on a fusion of soft rock and local genres, and it features a touch of RnB in a most convincing vocal delivery by Shégun.
The track was produced by acclaimed pianist, Abayomi “Qssence” Sosan while Olumide Oloidi mixed and mastered.
‘You are God’ was released in Nigeria on Friday, May 29, 2015 in commemoration of the country’s Democracy Day and has begun to enjoy airplay across terrestrial and satellite platforms.
