WALKING IN MY SHOES

Walking in the shoes of God

 What Should One Walk In?

Walking in the shoes of God

You cannot walk in darkness because you know the consequences; you will either walk into a pit, or jam yourself against a tough stumbling block, or fear will over shadow you therefore you remain stagnant, see John 11:10. Darkness is opposite of light, and usually light connotes positive signs, progressive in nature, comfortable by application to humanity.
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1John 1:7
“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:” Ephesians 5:8
Ignorance is darkness! Illiteracy is also darkness, not accepting the Gospel of Christ is darkness, indecent dressing is darkness, in summary walking in our selfish will according to the lust of our flesh is walking in darkness.
“He said he loves you and cannot see your parent before he touches you neither can he wait till marriage, he lie! Don’t follow him ooo, na darkness papa be that!”
Education is paramount, I understand it’s now a privilege as it is now very expensive but still no matter how costly it is, why buy ignorance, that’s a lot more expensive than education, “Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good” Proverbs 19:2. Even Jesus was educated while he was here on earth, (see Matthew 2:42-52). Moral education, which must now include sex education, is enough to build up selfless teenagers and youth. So that in the days of their Adult hood, less mistakes and more strict correction may be applied without a need to train such individual again, as some lost children find themselves in jeopardy of missed moral classes; some married, some old, some dead-died early.
Light gives knowledge of how past, present and future activities look like; it can be said that “wisdom is profitable and knowledge is accountable while understanding is approachable.” (Oshigbesan Adedeji Adewale, 2014). Starting with the definition of wisdom that is wisdom is the right application of knowledge is now accrued to this that Light is the right application of doing things, either day or night.

How to Walk?

WALK CIRCUMSPECTLY!
Ephesians 5:15-16 “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fool, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
Please let us endeavor to walk, even with grace; beautifully, in favor; circumspectly i.e. carefully, cautious, prudently, thoughtfully, warily, and charily among this perverse generation. I quote lyrically from Sinach’s album/track/song (Shout it Loud);
“Am walking in power! I walk in miracles! I live a life of favor.
Coz I know who I am”
Lovely song, real time lyrics! Going further to answer the question of How to walk? This can be traced to our infants, while they grow, the stage where it is required of them to walk is never ministered to them by anyone, although we become curious when they reach such stages and wonder why they are not walking, we begin to worry and think evil that probably the kid will be a cripple. The age variance is symbolic as we know that some children are early walkers 9 months-12months, some are late walkers 12months-24months. Not that these early walkers were thought by their parents to walk early but that it a natural phenomenon for such events to take place at such time same with the late walkers.
More concern is bestowed upon the late walkers and some parents are very impatient. Inducing the baby with drugs so as to hasten the mobility of such kids, thank God such have vast negative effect yet rather unfortunate to the child coming into the world having to face the risk of not walking because of negative side effect of such induced drugs. This is not how to walk, neither is it a better way of teaching learners how to walk.
It is said that “Charity begins at home”… that saying is becoming abused because even homes with depraved or low moral standard will not teach charity.
Charity begins in faith-of Christ. Charity which also means ‘Love’ can be taught anywhere but the better place is with the fellowship of the Spirit. Popular Pentecostal Preacher David Yonggi Cho pointed out where love descended from using the scripture “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” (2Corinthians 13:14).
He said “How should we accept the following benediction, “the love of God…..be with you all”? Have we become so hardened that we can hear about the Love of God without being moved or having a contrite heart? Almost any Christian today can quote John 3:16, yet only the letters remains, the life in them having been forgotten.”
It clearly stated that “we become so hardened”, how can we hear or teach Charity when our hearts is stone cold hard! When your heart is as hard as rock how can this young generation learn charity or have you forgotten that there is madness and foolishness in the heart of a child and that the effective use of the weep will drive it out! Whence did we stop using the weep, not just in cane, also in taught, actions, leadership, integrity, because it what I see my leader do, that I do also, but thank God mine is Jesus, looking up to the author and finisher of Adedeji’s faith.
How to walk is answered that we ought to make Love unfeigned take preeminence. Let love take the lead;
Leaders; start with love, dine with her, behold her beauty, respect her feelings, report to her your faults, tell her she is different from your emotions, tell are she is not similar with your lustful feelings, tell her the whole truth, open your heart to her without fear.
Apprentice; follow her, tread her paths, seek her day and night, learn from her-never take your eyes off her practical examples, delight yourself in her, she is your life, keep her. This may sound poetic but don’t get carried away; Charity is how to walk because;

“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. (1Corinthians 13:4-8)
Knowledge of how to walk is limited but knowing how to walk in Love is unconditional and unlimited, immortal and eternal. To round up on this note, we view some major adjective used in real life conditions and prove that love is the greatest.
“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of theses is charity.” (1Corithians 13:13).

LOVE IS THE GREATEST WAY TO WALK.
