[Music + Video] I Will Stay – Dunsin Oyekan
Effervescent Nigerian gospel music singer, songwriter, revivalist and recording artiste Dunsin Oyekan offer up the music video to the single titled, “I Will Stay.”
Speaking on the release via his social handles, “The Eagle” as he is fondly called, says; “Linger…stay, For a while, For as long it takes; Abide..stay.”
“In this place, In His gaze; Be still..settle here, Keep your gaze on Your Lover, The Lover of your soul; Linger…stay.
For strength, For renewal, Till you soar like an eagle, Till you become like The Father.” – he continues.
“Songs are ladders in the spirit! This is purely a Holy Ghost something! Go and soak.
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint – Isaiah 40:31 NKJV.” – Dunsin Oyekan concludes.
The single comes from the recently released fourteen(14)-track album project tagged, “The Birth of Revival”. It includes some previously released singles such as, “Finger of God,” to mention a few.
This new song takes the number eleven(11) spot in the album, with the video shot and directed by Lanre Esho.
