News: “Osuba” Crooner, Peterson Okopi, Bags Gospel Artist Award
Fast-rising Nigerian gospel music minister and recording artist, Peterson Okopi emerges winner at the just concluded CLIMA Africa Awards 2021, in “The Discovery Of The Year Gospel Artist In Africa” category.
The “Osuba” crooner, nominated alongside the likes of; Moses Bliss, Yadah, GUC, and others, came out triumphant having grown in leaps and bounds.
The Award Night, which was held at the prestigious Shehu Musa Yaradua Centre in the Nigeria capital city of Abuja, had in attendance, top gospel music artists, gospel entertainment promoters, politicians, and government dignitaries.
Peterson Okopi whose debut album, “Osuba” still enjoys massive airplay on TV and Radio stations around the world, has been on Apple’s top 100 Songs and Album since its release in May 2021. The TWC Signee has become a sensation and household name in the Gospel Music industry beyond Nigeria.
CLIMA Awards (an acronym for “CHRISTIAN LEGENDARY AND IMPACT MAKERS IN AFRICA) is one of Nigeria’s long-standing gospel entertainment awards bodies with credible track records.
