ZERO TO HERO STORY OF JUMOKE ORISAGUNA (the Bread Seller)
May be in your wildest of dreams, may be in your tiniest of thoughts, and may be in your most unrealistic fantasy that such a wonder should happen to you! Olajumoke is the trendy thing now!
Do such happen every day? Now you will want to pray that it happens to you right away! You might even dare dream to be a ‘Bread Seller’ like Olajumoke!
This story has booked a place in history and Olajumoke will never be forgotten. Nigerians from all works of life have placed their comments on this phenomena and their attitude towards this breakthrough for this young lady is relatively the same and for those who have negative thoughts towards her success will never understand that the breathe of life is a gift and not a right!
Olajumoke Orisaguna is 27 years old with two kids and yet she looks ‘18’ beautiful and fits the figure of the best super models in the world. Who would have ever thought that such “street people” that we look down upon with a disdainful eye have potentials to be the world most famous gem ever to live. It has happened and there is no dispute about how her fame came to be.
A tireless worker, who came from Osun State where she lived, leaves her family friends and loved ones to earn a better living in the city of Lagos. Not that she planned to be famous but she had a plan to feed her family through hard work, under the Sun or Moon, come rain, thunder claps, she was determined to work under any condition just to fulfill a simple and basic objective, food, clothing and shelter for family. Taking a look at the picture of bread on her head is also a picture of the burden life put on her. Rather than she allowing others to carry her burden, she carried it herself and got the reward.
Who knew her before? Now you know her!
She walked into the life of her destiny helper in the most unapproachable way, hawking bread? TY Bello was merely minding her business and Olajumoke was also minding her business and both were not slothful as it was written in the bible, ‘Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Romans 12:11,
‘The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. Proverbs 12:24.
Both ladies are diligent and when on their work, they give it a 100% believing that God will reward them and he did, especially for Olajumoke who was not even expecting such favor.
Her story so far has been inspiring and encouraging millions of youth out there, youths hustling and bustling the everyday struggle to earn a living.
Maybe top companies should learn for Olajumoke by employing individuals with obvious potential and hardworking, maybe youths should learn from this mysterious fame story, rather than spend limitless time on social distracting objects, like the social devices and equipment and the social web, pretending to be enjoying life, they should learn to work reasonable with their hands and legs. Let hustlers learn that in the pursuit of money and fame, God has his own plan which is always different from theirs.
I must confess to you that I am really inspired, being a writer, one can only pray for a publisher, either book wise or motion picture parlance.
Olajumoke is the legend of the month but we will not forget TY Bello who made it possible for the Bread Seller to be seen in her photo shoot even though she did not write it in the script of her photography scene of her Client, Tinie Temper who was on his photo shoot, that a bread seller will be joining him. this story confirms the word of God in 1Corinthians 1:27, ‘But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.’ God can use you if only you can make yourself available to him!
That is one character that we should learn when we meet people who are not up to us by any ramification, regardless of their level of education or background, we must never look down on them and make them look worse than the gutters. I am sure that this story will help you treat those around you better than before, not because you want to be rich and famous but for the fact that they are your neighbors who you need to help, that is why God will make them walk into your life hawking bread (looking unqualified for your taste), remember ‘God qualifies the unqualified’. Your gateman may not be qualified to be the Director General of your Company but do not treat him like a trash Can or Dunghill.
Be humble, learn it, fame comes after humility.
This is a legendary story that shows you can’t bribe your way through life, you can’t bribe your way through success, hardwork and determination is the best key so far and once again, a story as this has proved such theory true.
Take your journey seriously, there is hope at the end.
‘For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off’ Proverbs 23:18
Question is; What is your expectation and who do you depend upon for the fulfillment of your expectations? Your answer to these questions could make or mar your life journey. Do well to know God is interested in your success as He made this known in 3John 2:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Be like Olajumoke, be wise and be patient!
Good day and keep on believing…AmenRadio
