Homa K & Friends – Psalm 91
Homa K, a gospel music minister cum medical doctor and scientist, returns with a brand new single titled “Psalm 91” while featuring her friends [Laura, Izeiru, Nkay, Karissa, & Chioma].
Sharing about the song and its timeliness to the situation in our present time, Homa K shares “The COVID 19 is not from God. Having sent the Lord Jesus Christ to pay for sin, God the father patiently awaits the sinner to have a change of heart about who Jesus really is, that is, repent.

He says: “Believe on the Lord Jesus and you shall be saved” (Acts 16:31 KJV).
I love how scriptures covey the Lord’s gracious heart extended towards the sinner: “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” (2 Peter 3:9 NLT)
Although God is patient and will always be justified with the judgements He finally makes when the time is right, wisdom lets us know that “now is the time of salvation”.
“(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” – 2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV
The time to make the choice to believe on the Lord Jesus is while we still have breath in our lungs. Love isn’t forceful. God respects our free will but choosing God is the best thing ever!
This is why I’m pleased and feel blessed to convey this heavenly sound to us all.
I received the Psalm 91 song about this time in 2019, shared it with my church choir and we sang it once during service here in St Louis. It was laid on my heart to officially release it this year. It is a song of faith and victory and completely embodies psalm 91, a great weapon of spiritual warfare even now.
When I consider the timing; when God gave me the song and laid it on my heart to release it, I’m convinced that the Covid 19 situation didn’t take God by surprise and that the Lord wants to protect His children if they let Him do so. And what about the world?
“Any one who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Joel 2, Acts 2:21, Romans 10:13). God still cares.
Furthermore, in Colossians 3:16, we are encouraged to “Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever we do in word or deed, to do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”
The Psalm 91 song also brings this scripture to mind as it helps us obey.
Without any shadow of doubt, there is great power in singing scriptures with a melody inspired by God almighty.
There’s power in a song that doesn’t solely entertain, there’s power in a song that ministers not just to the soul but to the spirit and body, there is power in a spiritual song, this is the non-dramatic but result-yielding power of God!“
She goes further and says “God is good! I’m truly happy God gave me this melody for Psalm 91 to be released for such a time as this!
“Such I as I have give I unto you”, said Peter and John at the beautiful gate.
So, in addition to other things the Lord has laid on my heart to do at this time, I present this song of FAITH AND VICTORY as a gift to the world at this time when many are hurting and looking for solutions.
I would like to end by urging us to continually pray for and send words of encouragement to those on the front lines fighting against the virus, those sick and those hurting at this time from loss of loved ones or difficult financial circumstances.
I pray God’s divine wisdom, strength and protection for frontline workers, comfort for those hurting and a greater revelation of God’s love, though Christ Jesus. Let the hard places be turned into fountains of living water, in Jesus’ name, amen.”
