Veteran Nigerian gospel music saxophonist, songwriter, and recording artiste Mike Aremu popular as King Mike Aremu drops a hit new single titled, “Totori (The Name Of Jesus).”
“That is what the name Jesus does to me.” – says Mike.
The single is a mid-tempo infusion of Afrobeat and Jazz with Mike’s unique voice and signature sound of the tenor sax.
Mike Aremu is one of the front runners of world-class saxophone players whose music transcends class, age, and race, but what sets this distinguished musician apart is his ability to draw from traditional Nigerian sounds to create sounds that represent both his creative passion and his culture.
He released his Debut album Dance in September 1999, and then, “No Shaking” (both under Kennis Music). He has since released numerous chart-topping albums and singles such as “Unveiled,” “Coat of Many Colours,” and “Sound of the Spirit,” to mention but a few.
This new song is titled in the Pidgin English word which translates to mean, “Tickle, excite or arouse,” in the English language. It is accompanied by a visual.
