This week’s edition of The Artiste Spotlight Show with Perez on AmenRadio features Popular Gospel Artiste Uchey.
UCHEY as popularly known internationally is one of the fast rising Gospel ministers in Nigeria with many accolades to his name. A renowned song writer, worship leader at the Fountain of Life Church, music expert, Assistant Hod of the Youth Choir of Fountain of Life Church and a God lover.
He realised his passion for music at a very tender age and was a drummer and keyboardist at a church in Lagos while he took time time to develop himself and launch into his excellent musical career that earned him a nomination as Best Rising Worship Gospel Artist organized by My Faith Network in Georgia America.
Outstanding for his energetic style of worship, he joined a group called “Da New Planet” (DNP) and featured in the award winning song “Opomulero” which became a leverage that announced his arrival into the industry.
Although a prolific solo artist, he has worked with Onyeka Onwenu, Angel, Mayowa Aderenle, Buchi and has ministered on the same stage with the likes of Frank Edwards, Nathaniel Bassey, Tim Godfrey, Chioma Jesus, Efe Nathan, and many others.
He recently released his debut Album “THE JOURNEY THE GRACE” to the Glory of God which has popular songs like “Ebubedike” and “More Than Life to Me”.
Uchey is a graduate of Business Administration from the Lagos State University (LASU), an event decorator and music consultant.
Uchey never ceases to talk about God’s Grace and how far He has kept him through the rough patches of life.
