Transfer Gossips: Who stays and who goes in January transfer window

With the January transfer window is just some few days away, many potential deals that never sufficed during the summer will be getting closed to completion if the clubs involved are true about their intentions.

Southampton are looking to bring Liverpool and England striker Daniel Sturridge, 28, to the club on a loan deal until the end of the season. (Telegraph)

Saints also want to use part of the money gotten from the £75m sale of Netherlands defender Virgil van Dijk’s  to Liverpool to re-sign Arsenal’s 28-year-old England forward Theo Walcott. (Mirror)

Liverpool flew a team of doctors to assess Southampton’s 26-year-old defender Virgil van Dijk so they could complete his £75m signing as swift as possible to avoid any rivalry threat from Manchester City. (Liverpool Echo)

Meanwhile, Arsenal are preparing a launch a bid for 26-year-old Leicester city and Algeria winger Riyad Mahrez, with Chile forward Alexis Sanchez set to leave the club after the gunners boss declared he is not fearful of the 29-year-old’s exit (Le Buteur – in French)

Arsene Wenger also says a table talk needs to be done over a new contract with 25-year-old midfielder Jack Wilshere, planned for the beginning of January  (Mail)

West Ham are looking to sign 27-year-old Borussia Dortmund and Germany forward Andre Schurrle, on loan in January. (Guardian)

David Moyes could also make a move for 27-year-old Stoke and Wales midfielder Joe Allen as the former Everton manager can’t wait to have new players in his squad for the remainder of the season. (Mirror)

And meanwhile, Stoke is interested in signing Liverpool’s 25-year-old striker Danny Ings, on loan, but will face competition from the likes of West Ham, Newcastle and West Brom. (Independent)

Real Madrid are said to be interested in signing Fulham’s England Under-19s left-back Ryan Sessegnon while Manchester United and Tottenham are set to rival Madrid on the 17-year-old wonder kid. (AS via Talksport)

The spanish giants Real are also instrested in  Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and the English champions are ready to sell the 25-year-old if a contract extension agreement cant be reached with the Belgium international . (Sky Sports)

Juventus have reportedly rejected a bid from Manchester United for 24-year-old Argentina forward Paulo Dybala which is in a region of £70m. United also offered Armenia midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, 28, as part of the deal. (Sun)

Manchester City will make a move to pursue their interest in West Brom and Northern Ireland centre-back Jonny Evans, 29, or Real Sociedad’s 26-year-old Spain defender Inigo Martinez in January to cover up for injured captain Vincent Kompany (Telegraph)

Wolfsburg are reportedly keen to make the deal of Liverpool striker Divock Origi permanent. The 22-year-old Belgium international joined the Bundesliga side on a season-long loan deal in August. (ESPN) 

Manchester United will reportedly not rival Barcelona’s interest in 26-year-old Atletico Madrid and France forward Antoine Griezmann. Jose Mourinho believes he is not worth the price tag of £88million (Marca)

Paris St-Germain are monitoring Marouane Fellaini’s situation at United and would be interested in sign the 30-year-old Belgium midfielder on a free transfer next summer if a new deal is not agreed with his club before then. (Daily Mirror)

Atletico Madrid will be ready to to sell their Belgium winger Yannick Carrasco, when the January transfer window opens. (AS)
