In 2008 in the midst of a rising and critically acclaimed pop music career, Obiora Obiwon revealed that he had been undergoing a spiritual experience and rebirth.
Announcing a transition into the Christian/gospel genre, Obiora Obiwon began a brand new journey in music and youth ministry.
He has since released 4 gospel albums and is currently preparing a 5th. In 2019, the off album single ‘Surge’ inspired ‘Surge Generation’, an urban outreach movement focused on reaching and transforming the lives of young people.
