QUEEN ESTHER: THE POWER OF BEAUTY

THE POWER OF BEAUTY IN GOD’s BENEVOLENCE

GIANT IN YOU: QUEEN ESTHER
The Power of Beaty

“Again Esther spake unto Hatach, and gave him commandment unto Mordecai; all the kings servants, and the people of the king’s provinces, do know, that whatsoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shallhold out the golden scepter, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.” (Esther 4:10-11)

The King had passed a decree, never to be revoked, a decree against the people of his Queen Esther unknown to him. She needed to save her people. She had her weapon, offcourse, the first weapon in her armory is her beauty. But she put God first because God is beautiful. If you are beautiful which I believe you are, I need you to understand something. Do not take advantage of other who easily fall prey for your beauty. It is tempting, which is good, but falling into temptation is a Sin. God made you beautiful for a purpose, find it, work towards the fulfillment of that purpose. Maybe you might just save thousands of people like Esther did. The advent of using your beauty for seduction, inorder to get what you want at all times or prostitution is against God’s will for your life.

Queen Esther …

It’s a well-known rule that once the king, king Ahasuerus did not need your presence in his inner court, death is a likely decision if you trespass. This was the case Esther must face if she must save herself and her people.

“And they told to Mordecai Esther’s words.

“Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews.

“For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

We still find Esther here receiving advice and instructions from Mordecai-it’s a sign of respect from Queen Esther to Mordecai. The decree had been established in all the provinces of the kingdom. Mordecai made Esther know that she herself will not be spared, but he also made faith to be unveiled in that; Esther must have been placed there as a Queen to save the Jews. She unleashed her giantess prowess; intellectually and spiritually, and in faith-making it a do or die affair. Some women may start crying or even go as far as committing suicide because all ways are pointing at death. Esther, with humility swallowed the pride of being a luxurious queen and replied Mordecai, asking him to tell the Jews to fast which includes she and her maidens “ and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish I perish.”

Its suicide! The giant in you should be desperate to get what you want in godly manners (see Individualism Desire Temperaments) “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death (Revelation 12:11). Esther loved not her life unto death, like she knew Jesus and his words when he said; “He that findeth his life shall loose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. (Mathew10:39). She did intend to lose her life! Esther was ready to lose her life for the sake of her people and herself but at the end she found her life and saved the lives of her people. She used her beauty in God’s benevolence to save her people, use yours to help and save!

I pray that you find your God given purpose early in life and if you think age is barrier then remember Abraham and Sarah. At their old age, Abraham was hundred years old and Sarah Ninety years old when the most important instrument of their destiny came to life, the birth of Isaac. Also, remember, Moses, he was Eighty years old when he began to fulfill destiny, and he did. You are never too late to discover your God given destiny. When you do find it, which I pray that God will open your eyes of understanding, so that He will enlighten you and for you to know what is the hope of your calling, to know his power and riches of his inheritance in the saints. Amen. Keep guard of your purpose, discipline yourself to cut down on luxury and be ready to serve, you are born for service. It doesn’t mean that you should suffer, you will be rewarded on Earth and in Heaven.
