THE GIANT IN YOU; QUEEN ESTHER IS YOUR CASE STUDY

QUEEN ESTHERTHE GIANT IN YOU

CHAPTER TWO: ESTHER THE GIANTESS.

THE GIANT IN YOU

A giantess has the power to subdue other giantess and any other woman of inferior in quality of character and stature physically in any competition that has to do with physical strength. Although it is known that giants are proud, haughty, bullies, domineering, selfish and other negative gigantically attributes. But Esther wasn’t a giantess physically to the other entire maiden yet she won the competition.

The giant in Esther is defined as; beauty, respect, grace and favor. Any woman possessed with these God given qualities can do the unthinkable only if she knew. Ignorance of a gift makes it abuse inevitable.

Several other women in the bible possessed these qualities; Sarah, Mary mother of Jesus (Luke 1:28), Rachael, Ruth, Rebekah, Elizabeth mother of John the Baptist and other women in which the giant in them gave them recognition in biblical history.

One gigantic nature of Esther was her beauty; “…and the maid (Esther) was fair and beautiful;” And physical beauty is quickly seen and makes an impressive and attractive nature on both genders but that doesn’t guarantee the inner beauty; character, attitude, temperament, background or foundation, environment, friends, church, leadership, education, information, respect, knowledge-knowledge about Christ, pride (self-esteem) and dignity of being a woman, mentors, parents and so on. All these attributes are inescapable from beauty, infact they all determine to what extent such a lady can be called beautiful.

Not that a lady can be perfect in all attributes but the thirst to be a virtuous woman is a race I flag off to women that are determined to be the best either single or married. The giant in you should always be determined to learn more, being sensitive to the thought of others about you most especially when you feel in secured of a particular behavior you just exhibited which didn’t speak well of you. Don’t just carry on with such bad behaviors, be bold enough to face it and be determined to put an end to it! If you claim to possess a giant then control it, don’t make it control you because you didn’t ask for it yet its abiding still in as a gift from gift to do you good and for your profiting.

Every woman is beautiful but those that allow it to get to them often misuse it and even call it a weapon. Hey! Weapons can be used for good reasons and bad purposes. You don’t use your (giant to subdue) beauty to seduce men because of your selfish pleasures. There are several other good reasons why God made you beautiful. The case here is Esther and we can see that her beauty gave deliverance to her people, on the account of saving hundreds of innocent souls from death! What can your beauty do? Good or bad? Does it kill or make alive? Does it subdue men or make men great so that we can say “behind every giant there’s always a giantess?” Still beauty is not always enough for women that want the best result, beauty attracts good things and bad things. “And the king loved Esther above all the women and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins;” (Esther 2:17a)

Respect; is one vital nature that must be added to beauty if not, beauty is proud and arrogant, and this does not speak well of a beautiful woman. “Esther had not yet shewed her kindred nor her people; as Modecai had charged her: for Esther did the commandment of Mordecai, like as when she was brought up by him.”(Esther 2:20).

Usually when women get to higher positions, like slave Esther to Queen Esther they often get proud and arrogant, disrespecting all those they once adhered to. Not all women though, as it take the grace of God for those who remain humble and respectful like Esther. This trait in Esther made her sensitive and careful, she respected Mordecai so much that when the king enthroned her to be his queen she still received orders from him as though they came politely. A coup was being initiated by Bigthan and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlain. Mordecai over heard them and reported the matter to Esther and she acted quickly, so did she save the life of the king, even hers. You can imagine if she was proud and had neglected Mordecai, the case would have been different. She would have lost the chance of saving the life of the king and the beginning of her reign would have been tagged the death of the king or even her own death! Respect is as comely as beauty, humility comes before honor.

“And the king loved Esther above all the women and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins;” (Esther 2:17a) clearly written in black and white. Her beauty attracted grace and favor.

Remain in the beauty of God and never forget to remember, you are beautiful for a purpose…find it, do it and give glory to God, even now!

More to come…

Enjoy your weekend…
