THE PROVERBS 31 WOMAN

Good morning family this might probably cause uproar but I’ll just share MY VIEWS. While studying this morning I realized that on so many levels the enemy (devil) is trying to shift our attentions from God and the things that matters to unnecessary point of argument like;

‘Is putting on make-up a sin?’,
‘Can I add attachment to my hair?’
Some questions as funny as;
‘Can I wear a perfume?’
‘Should I put on ear rings?’
‘Can I wear pencil skirts?’, and the most controversial of them all is the issue about Trousers, we ask ‘Is trousers bad for a lady?’
Here’s what my Bible tells me, I’ll be referring you to proverbs 31:25a which says;
“STRENGTH AND DIGNITY are Her CLOTHING and Her Position is Strong And Secure”.
First is strength, simply put, what you put on must possess strength, STRENGTH HERE
MEANS POSITIVE ATTRIBUTE. Your dressing should have a positive effect on people, let them draw strength from what you wear, don’t hurt others through your dressing, most especially don’t insult God through your dressing you’re His very image.
Dignity on the other hand states that your dressing must be in ‘A STATE WORTHY OF ESTEEM AND RESPECT, OF DECORUM (ORDERLINESS). I think this explains itself well enough. So next time you’re about to pick up that distressed (crazy) jeans, ask yourself does this seem orderly or does it feature great esteem and respect?
Girlfriends get ahead of the Devil and pay attention to the things that don’t matter, don’t bother your pretty head about unnecessary things. Are you about to dress? Check if all fits with these criteria, GOD BLESS US.
