6TEAM STORM OUR MUSIC LIVES AGAIN
They may sound like you’ve never met them before or you might think that this group is new in Town but no. This gospel group has been around, atleast, Ten years now.
What! Are you surprised? You must be, because this group had rang their song into the heart of Nigerians but it would seem like they did that unnoticed. For some of you that may remember this song, ‘Jesus mi o, Mumi Dele ooo’ also sang by Lara George and the popular Eyen O, did you just Scream “6Team”? Means we are on the same page.
Amazingly, 6Team are so popular and yet passing through our rave unnoticed. Their level of success is stunning, but, we don’t know them the way we should. They are not like other Gospel Artist that are known by even secular fans.
They have performed several times in the United Kingdom, America, KICC (church) during their program, ‘Gathering of Champions’, performed at the Mayor’s Office in the United Kingdom, and churches in the United Kingdom through the promotional skill of their UK based Manager, Mr. Bola Mogaji while signed under an American Owned Music Label.
Shockingly, one of the member of this group, 6TEAM was kidnapped in Ogun State in person of ‘Joel Benson’, a cinematographer. On Sunday, July the 10th 2016, he was robbed and taken away by the kidnappers after which they demanded a ransom deal of #50, 000, 000 (fifty million) naira. Ridiculous I must tell you and prayers went ceaselessly on his behalf.
On the 20th of July, 2016, thanks to God Almighty, he was released after much intercessions and prayers.
The 6TEAM are promising to release their album in Nigeria after promoting it in the United Kingdom. This double album Titled “Approved and Get Loosed” should have been released 9years ago (2007) but somethings had to be put in order. Will this 20 track albums be released this year? Hopefully!
WOW! That will be great and amazing, listening to new sounds from 6 Team. Since it’s taken long, we hope and expect it to blow our minds.
This is going to be a plus to our lives in terms of having the pleasure of listening to good music, fresh sound, wonderful heart lifting lyrics from a joyful source having One person in common, Jesus Christ.
