Arsenal Football Club has confiirmed Unai Emery as the new head coach to succeed Arsene Wenger at the Emirate.

The former Sevilla and PSG coach finally joins the big London club after much speculation as to who will take on the mantle at the Emirate amongst the list of the many potential successor line up, after the long reign of Arsene Wenger came to a much expected end especially by most of the fans of the club.

Arsenal revealed through a video on their twitter handle after 9am on Wednesday morning, with a caption “A new dawn. A new era. A new chapter.” The Spaniard will be formally unveiled at a press conference at 2pm later on Wednesday afternoon.

Unai Emery will be at the club till 2021 after he reportedly signed a 3-year and will be prepared to lead Arsenal into a new era following the departure of the French man Arsene Wenger, who ended his reign with three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups – including two Doubles to his name.

Unia Emery has a two-year spell with the French giants PSG where he won the league title during his second and final year and he also won four domestic cups, having joined from Sevilla in 2016.
