The South African Gospel Singer and Songwriter, born on July 10, 1981, Tumisang Makweya, is also a medical doctor, music producer, and pastor. He is best known for gospel worship and contemporary styles of music.
Dr Tumi launched his music career as a worship leader and rose to prominence with his debut album Heart of a King in 2015. The project received widespread acclaim and produced popular songs like “Nothing Without You,” which gained massive airplay on gospel platforms and was played extensively on Christian and mainstream radio stations.
The songwriter is married to Kgaogelo Rathebe, and their union is blessed with three sons: Onalerona, Bokamoso, and Khumoetlile.
The singer continues to release powerful worship songs and albums, becoming one of the leading voices in contemporary African gospel music while also balancing his career in medicine and ministry.
