Avantii Uzor was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. As a child, Avantii found immense pleasure in listening to gospel music as she completed her chores.
Before long, it transformed into a passionate leisure time activity of hers in which she performs for family and friends in her community. She started her professional music career in 2004 and has been influenced by some great musicians in Nigeria such as Sammy Okposo, Efe Nathan, Ige, Keffi, as well as international gospel artists like Yolanda Adams, Hezekiah Walker, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Vitue, Trinitee 57, Donnie McClurkin, just to mention a few.
Avantii has worked with various producers such as Wole Oni, Flo, Bossbeats, Dare David of DVibes Media and many more.
