Debutante gospel music minister, Bunmi Tasan makes a bold entrance onto the gospel music scene singing, “It’s A Privilege.”
Sharing on the inspiration and motivation behind the song, Bunmi Tasan says “The song “It’s A Privilege” is a product of my divine encounter with my maker, my mentor and director Holy Spirit, at a time when there was a thirst and desire for more of Him. I engaged in a vigil for a desired change in the journey of my life.
While enjoying His fellowship, I fell asleep, not that deep, because I was still conscious, then suddenly I heard a word from Him, “Whatever height a man attain in his life, It is a privilege by God.”
Right in the dream, the song was delivered to me, immediately I woke up, I picked up my phone and recorded the song. As I was still meditating on the word, God was telling me, attending churches and fellowships is never enough, attending meetings and listening to messages from great Pastors is never enough to gain asses to His presence.”
Bunmi Tasan goes further to explain that, “Many people wish to have fellowship with God, panting to be in His presence but the flesh is waging war against them. Many distractions and desires of this earth have hindered some from enjoying His real presence.
It’s more than being a song minister, a great evangelist or a gospel artiste, It is God alone that gives the privilege to be in His presence. No fame or popularity can offer a platform to enjoy His glorious presence.
If only we can acknowledge Him, if only we can praise Him, if only we can reverence Him every time for His goodness and wondrous works, then having access to His presence will never be difficult.”
To the glory of His name, the development of what I encountered that night turned out to become this song “It’s A Privilege.”
Bunmi Tasan concludes and shares from Zechariah 4:6 KJV “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”
