Zambian-based award-winning Gospel music artiste, singer and songwriter, Paul Payne837 steams up a brand new single titled, “Emotional Blood”.

Sharing his thoughts on the song, “Emotional Blood” is a song which comes from an emotional, vulnerable and bloody place where I speak about coming from a broken home, fighting depression, disappointment and having father issues.”

“I feel most artists don’t want to speak about these issues and the struggles they have been through because they are scared of being judged so they keep a perfect picture, especially in the gospel arena.” – he continues.

“When you look at how a man is perceived in our society it’s really hard to express yourself because you are supposed to be strong and not show weakness, this is the reason men commit suicide more than women.” – Paul Payne concludes.

A little standout lyric from the single is, “I lost my mama gat depression but I act fine. Cuz a man is never prone to show a weak sign; They be calling you simp trash you online.”
