DABO WILLIAMS REVEALS DEBUT ALBUM RELEASE
Dabo Williams popularly referred to as the “Praise Captain” is a sensational gospel singer, praise and worship leader; who has carved a niche for himself in the industry with his various singles ranging from praise to worship, and inspirational songs.
Dabo Williams is one of the young talents with a conscious sense of purpose, who knows where he is coming from and where he is going. A futurist and a goal getter, He is seen as a role model to many young aspiring gospel artistes. Dabo Williams has been able to organize about 10 praise and worship concerts, blessing life’s with his ministration and also creating platform for many to express their God given gifts.
Praise Captain is the CEO OF ZION MUSIC RECORDZ a fast growing gospel record label and also a house to 3 young and fast rising talents; BHUSSIE HALULAH (one of Naija’s youngest female talking drummer), OLUWATOMI S.U Drapman (a gospel rapper) and TOMI SAX (Naija’s youngest and finest jazzist) being signed under it.
Dabo Williams is a multi-talented artiste, he writes script and acts, he was featured in the movie JOMBO 2007 by Binta Ayo Mogaji (Igbanladogi) and directed by JIBOLA DABO who is rumored to be DABO WILLIAMS father; you know that veteran nollywood actor with white bears, who has acted in so many Nigeria home movie, dishing out excellent performance.
Read along as Dabo Williams’ shares with us his plans towards his debut album launching event in this exclusive chat:
AmenRadio: Hello sir, it’s good to have you here.
Dabo Williams: My pleasure sir
AmenRadio: Ok, there’s been an ear catching news that you are planning to release your debut album, Can you kindly confirm its authenticity?
Dabo Williams: (Sigh) Hmmm! To God’s glory and by His grace it is very true, I mean very much true.
AmenRadio: Wow. That’s great, congratulations in advance. So finally the world and your fans can have your songs in an album.
Dabo Williams: Yes sir.
AmenRadio: So can you give us an insight on your plans, what we should expect from the album, the title and so on?
Dabo Williams: Well by God’s grace; me and my management are planning great, we are planning on having an event for the release of the album like a concert and also a platform for the upcoming ones to perform in celebration with God’s grace & Mercy upon my life and ministry. It’s also going to be an evening of laughter, great music, drama and networking. People from all works of life are expected to come around. The album is titled “Grace & Mercy”; its talks about the story of my life giving praises to God for his unending Grace & Mercy that has seen me thus this far. It will also be an inspiration to others who has gone through one or two things similar to my experience. And I want my fans and people waiting to expect nothing from me but trust God to use me in what they are expecting.
AmenRadio: Wow! Sure it’s going to be a great event and an evening to look out for. So when is it happening?
Dabo Williams: Trusting God for September 14th 2014. Other details as regarding venue and others will be communicated soon.
AmenRadio: Ok. Is there going to be a gate fee or entrance fee or any financial requirement to attend?
Dabo Williams: Hmmm! Well we won’t put it that way, rather we will tag it “gate seed”. There is a gate seed of N500, just to support the ministry, and the gate seed qualifies you automatically for a copy of the Cd. We are still working on it like I said. You know our people, they might not come coz of that and we don’t want to have an event of empty chairs. We want people around.
AmenRadio: Hmm you are right. But we at AmenRadio are using this opportunity to tell you that we will support in anyway we can and also contribute to the success of the project

Dabo Williams: All glory to God my mentor, Pv Idemudia is on the project, Legend Ajah, Rockytee, Youngboss and others are working on this project. And for the artiste we are expecting at the program and hoping to join me in celebration are quite much but let me mention few, among are; JIBOLA DABO, SHOLA ALLYSON, TOEYOURSEA, PV IDEMUDIA, BHUSSIE HALULAH, TOMI SAX, DBASS, KKDM, KHELECHI, THOBBIE YOU ARE, CHARLES BASS, IREWOLE JAZZ, E-WISE, ALAGBA JK, OKOTO JESU, DARE JUSTIFIED, TOPE HALLELUYAH and many others.

Dabo Williams: Hmmm! All I can say is that we are related, I won’t say more than that for now, when the time comes, people will know. (Smiles)
