Be Inspired: Fervency in the Wrong Direction – Written By Maryam Otsokwa

Moving in a wrong direction many times does not seem wrong until you arrive at an unexpected destination.

Oh you are running so fast; going; moving so quickly; achieving some level of success but only to reach the end and realize that you were in the wrong direction all along.

How would you feel? How painful would that be for you? Running with passion and zeal towards your goals, only to get it and realize that it was not exactly how you thought or what you expected.

A human being can only see 180° space at a given time. From his arms forward is the limited space a human being can see at a glance per time. This symbolizes the fallibility and limitation of a human being. This is because the other 180° we cannot see which is controlled by beings and other elements we are oblivious to, is even more powerful than the 180° we can see.

We realize that many times we humans think we want a particular thing meanwhile we actually need a different thing. It is sometimes hard to differentiate what we truly need from what we want and what is good for us. This disparity proves that we cannot survive on our own, hence, we need help from a person above us and that person is certainly God- The Holy Spirit.

God is the all-knowing God and He asks us to commit our ways unto Him so that He can give us good success. Surrender your decisions, desires and intentions to God and let Him choose for you. Avoid telling him your plans after you have made them so that you do not experience or waste your fervency in the wrong direction.

We certainly do not have all the time in the world to waste making wrong decisions so why not subscribe to the divine and infallible leading of God – dependable and reliable at all times as well as guaranteeing a divine backing.

Therefore, always remember that God is committed to leading you for as long as you are committed to following Him.
