LOVE CONQUERS ALL

John 3:16; “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life…”

Not that we had the capacity of ourselves to love, we once did but lost it.

“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.  And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.  And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.”

What exactly did we lose here, we lost God himself. God is Love and we lost it, see 1John 4:16b. We lost God, our relationship with him, and he being our source, being Love personified, we lost Love. So to Love as now become very difficult.

Since this event, in the above scripture, man unlearned love and began to create theories and philosophies on how to live together. We should not learn to live together rather Love each other. No amount of effort we put into learning societal peace can level up to what Love can give us if we understand who love is.

Question is, Despite the great challenges we face such that in most cases, we would rather make it a war, how come Love has the power to conquer all when it does not have an evidence of battle?

Tough question but let me break it down;

Mankind faces challenges that are beyond his prowess…

Mankind supposed solution to his challenges is the instrument of war in any dimension…

To preach Love in the face of Mankind Challenges is foolishness to mankind…

But Love is the only solution to all of Mankind’s’ challenges…

From this little analysis, we can draw out why mankind will never learn love until the right question is asked and we have the right answers.

The question is not, What is Love? That is a wrong question, the question is; Who is Love?

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.” 1John4:7.

John the beloved a disciple of Christ who was alive after the death of most disciples said this to his followers, who followed because he followed the doctrine of Christ. Taking note of his statement, he never said, let us learn to love, he said, Beloved, let us love one another. We can’t learn love rather Love, express love.

What we do today is that we teach what we don’t practice. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying we should not teach and learn love but Love Himself is existing and has come to show us the way to love through Jesus Christ, so whatever it is we are teaching today that is different from what Love had left heaven to come down and teach us is wrong. If at all we must learn, let us learn from Christ Jesus.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

Jesus is that Word that left heaven and became flesh and began to tell, I am the Way, the Truth and Life.

He taught us how live in love, he made it the greatest commandment Love God and Love your neighbor as yourself.
