[NEWS] MaryJane Nweke Preps For New Single, “Otuekong”

Port-Harcourt-based female vocal powerhouse and gospel music diva MaryJane Nweke also known as the Golden Voice looks set to release a new single including a complimenting video on the 23rd of June, 2023, titled, “Otuekong.”

MaryJane who is hyped as she looks forward to this release, is known for her heartfelt eulogies of God and traditional folk praise songs. While the single is no different in style, the rendition is powerfully memorable with its sing-along melody.

Residing in Port-Harcourt, the fifth(5th) most populous city in Nigeria, her song “Doer of Good Things,” off the album “Satisfied,” was strong enough to penetrate the integral of the state, earning her several ministrations, from podiums to altars – even state functions.

Other songs which are doing great numbers include “Same God” and the more recent, “What More.” She has ministered at the Tehila Experience, Abia state; the Ubulu 4 Christ crusade, in Delta state; the Holy Ghost Outpouring with Yinka Ayefele in Osun state; The Aba City Cry; the fifth(5th) Inter-Cultural Praise streamed from Ireland; and the Akwete Praise Night with Frank Edwards, Eben, Paul Nwokocha and many more.

This new song is titled in the Ibibio dialect [a language spoken in the South-southern region of Nigeria] which translates to mean, “Great Warrior,” in English.

It is recorded at Rocktown Studio while the video was shot and directed by Jesus Filmworks.
