Malta-born gospel music singer and songwriter Lara Familua popular as Omolara unveils a brand new single titled “Mimo,” featuring Chigozie Wisdom, Zion Voices, and gospel singer/producer Dre-Sticks.
Speaking about the song, Lara says “This is a powerful song that will uplift your spirit.”
“It is anchored on Revelation 4:8, “Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.” – she continues.
“For all that the Lord has done for me, this is the way I want to spend my time here on earth doing; glorifying God’s name, sharing the knowledge of His love to mankind and ushering souls to the throne of mercy.” – Omolara concludes.
She is known for singing Yoruba gospel music many wonders how she blends so well. The multi-talented lady is blessed with the ability to speak and sing in several languages which include English, Spanish, Italian, Yoruba, Ibo and her native language, Maltese.
Lara is married to Oluwamayowa and a mother of three (3) children. She is a trained midwife and currently studying Music at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, the USA where she currently resides.
This new song is titled in the Yoruba Language [a language spoken in the Western region of Nigeria] and translates to mean, “Holy.”
