Dannié also called Danniélove was born on the 14th day of October in Kaduna to Mr. and Mrs. Williams and Gladys Edeh. His biological name is Edeh Daniel Chukwuemeka, a native of Isiogbo nara community in Nkanu East Local government of Enugu State.
He showed great interest and love for music at a tender age of six; he started learning how to play drums which he had constructed himself, he became the children’s choir master at age twelve at the church where he attended. His music career started in 1998 as a member of an Accapella group called Glorious Singers.
In the year 2000, he met with friends who had passion for music like he does and who had access to some recording studios; they got together and recorded several songs also doing backup vocals for known artists.
He became more interested in the music business and was introduced to the music industry and system, and recorded in 2005 he recorded his first album.
In 2006, he performed at a show for the third anniversary of COSMO fm in Enugu now defunct, where the likes of Basket Mouth, PSquare, Obione, Waje, Body Language, and lots of other great stars also performed.
In 2007, he contested in the G’ music talents hunt show in Lagos and reached the semifinals.
In 2008, he went for MTN Project Fame season 1, and reached the regional stage.
His first international recognition came in 2009, when he went for Dstv’s MNET NaijaSings reality show, where he emerged 7th, he also went for MTN Project Fame season three, and got to the semi final stage.
Dannié is a graduate of computer science, from the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, a former banker, a leader, an entrepreneur, a humble servant, a friend, and a lover of good things.
His love and passion for music is like a string that connects the soul to the mind. It streams from deep within his being and radiates in all he does. His attitude towards life is to take each step after the other, and keep moving, no matter the obstacle on the way. ’’Nothing in life is easy, but all that is required must be done’’.
