Music minister, Dunamis Oolu shares a heartfelt thanksgiving song with a lyric video titled “Semilóore” produced by Evans Ogboi for Simplicity Records.
The Yoruba titled song which translates as “God favoured me” comes through Dunamis with appreciation and thanksgiving to God.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, she says; “On the 6th of January 2020, right in my small bedroom in a homeless accommodation; I was alone, depressed and lonely from a broken relationship. I didn’t see any good in myself anymore.
But God showed up in person. That person rescued me from taking an overdose again. The person spoke exactly what has been ringing in my ears.
“God has already given you all that you ever needed to live but you are too afraid to use the gift of God in you. Until you do that, I am afraid there is no other way out.”
“That was the beginning of my journey and this single titled “Semilóore” was birthed.
