[Music + Lyrics] Lifted – Dm Gerald ft. Jewel

Download: Lifted – Dm Gerald ft. Jewel

Nigerian gospel artiste, prolific songwriter, recording and performing artiste, DM Gerald collaborates with Minister Jewel to churn out another impressive single tagged “Lifted” produced by Gidyboss.

“Lifted” is a song of testimony that lyrically acknowledges that the blessings, liftings and heights we have reached today is certainly not because we deserved it, neither is it because we are more skilful, talented, educated or more intelligent than every other person who are yet to attain same heights, but obviously because we were supernaturally assisted by the grace of God for every single staircase of promotion we climbed and for every trophy we won.

“This song is here to remind us of Apostle Paul’s sincere acknowledgement of divine help that says “I am what I am by the grace of God.” – 1 Corinthians 15:10.

In his words, “We return with gratitude because we have not forgotten so soon how you picked us from the miry clay and have brought us thus far.”

Lyrics: Lifted By Dm Gerald ft. Jewel

Verse 1:
Chim emekwalaya ozo eeh (My God has done it again)
He has lifted my head
He gave me beauty for ashes
He placed my feet on the rock to stand.

Chorus:
Hallelujah
Glory glory hallelujah
My God has lifted me higher
He placed my feet on the rock to stand

Verse 2:
Not like I’m better than the rest
I’m a product of grace
Now everything is working for my good
He placed my feet on the rock to stand

Chorus:
I am soaring like the eagles
Higher, higher, higher every day
Cos God has lifted me higher
He placed my feet on the rock to stand

Hallelujah
Glory glory hallelujah
My God has lifted me higher
He placed my feet on the rock to stand

Bridge:
If you know the Lord has done great things for you let me hear you scream hallelujah!

Chorus:
Hallelujah (10x)

Repeat: Hallelujah.
