Download: Yabo – Pastor Tee
Linus Thomas Dauniye; an experienced musicologist, theologian, and minister of music and worship leader also known as “Pastor Tee;” drops new single captioned “Yabo” produced by Ebenezer.
With the title deeply rooted in Hausa [a language largely spoken in the Northern region of Nigeria] translates to mean “Praise” in English.
The singer perfectly delivers the song by mixing and fusing Hausa and English languages smoothly.
Speaking about the song, He said “The song came after seeing how far God brought me from. The road has been rough and the struggles of becoming a better person have not been easy. But I give God Praise through it all.”
Lyrics: Yabo By Pastor Tee
Verse 1:
Amazing grace how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I’m found, was blind but now I see.
‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed.
Chorus:
Yabo, yabo, yabo, yabo ooo.
Yabo yabo, ka isa yabo ooo.
Girma, girma mu ce masa mun gode,
Yabo, yabo, ka isa yabo (2x)
Verse 2:
The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be as long as life endures.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing
God’s praise than when we first begun.

Bridge:
Godiya, godiya ahhhh
Godiya, godiya na ke lalle.
