Vibrant female Nigerian gospel singer, recording artiste and songwriter Naomee Oboyi fondly called Naomee, kicks off the New Year 2023 with the music video to the single titled, “Awone,” featuring Chris Morgan.

Speaking about the song, Naomee says; “It is a song that will take you on a smooth getaway with God, to a place of deep worship and total confidence in Him; knowing fully well that He can and will always take care of you.”

Naomee and Chris Morgan code-switch between the English and Idoma languages on this single (one of the songs on her debut album, “Beautified by Grace”), creating a heavenly sound filled with deep lyrical content and powerful vocal performances.

Naomi was born on May 11 in Otukpo, Benue State. She is a seasoned gospel music minister, songwriter, event host, and media consultant with an intense passion for God.

In 2021, she released her debut album, “Beautified by Grace,” which has been a huge blessing to several lives across the world. She is also a graduate of Mass Communications from Benue State University.
