Port Harcourt-based Nigerian gospel music Pastor and Music minister Sampson Beals offers up a debut new single titled, “Ring the Bells of Christmas”, in celebration of the festive season.
Commenting on the song, Sampson says “The song is of a contemporary Anglo-Afro genre and provides a snapshot of the unavoidable storyline of Jesus Christ’s birth.”
“This song, beyond the storyline, extols the Lord’s name and the power that comes with it. The appeal is a gesture to announce the birth story of Jesus, to the shame of the powers of darkness.
Announce it by preaching Christ to others for salvation; announce it by worshipping the Lord.” – he concludes.
The single is fused with an Afro vibe, and some parts are delivered in the Kalabari dialect of Nigeria’s Ijaw tribe which is emphasized in the English refrain.
