Nelson Akogo Releases Debut Single “IDIEGWU” [YOU ARE A WONDER].

A minister by calling, a musician by default, Nelson Akogo was born in the mid 80s. He hails from Delta state but grew up in Lagos where he had his primary and secondary education, he then gained admission to the University of Benin where he graduated as a Pharmacist.

His music profession started in 2013 when he recorded ‘NO WAYO’ which was well received by gospel music lovers, with a video played by both local and international TV stations. He is working on his soon-to be-released album titled ‘THE REAL LIFE’ which has tracks like ‘Idiegwu’, ‘Jehovah Onyeoma’, ‘You’re the One’, ‘Know You More’, ‘How far can you see’ etc. Haven ministered in several conferences in youth churches, campus fellowships and beyond, he has been a channel of blessing to many. He has also shared the stage with the likes of Sammy Okposo, Rev. Victor Atenaga, Nikki Laoye and a host of others.

Nelson says that, he owes it all to God and has pledged his life to the ministry of the gospel through music. He is happily married to Obehi and they are blessed with a girl and a boy: Sophia and Stephan.
‘IDIEGWU’ (meaning YOU ARE A WONDER) is a mid tempo worship song with a touch of rock and African percussion. Born out of a heart of appreciation for God’s awesomeness.

Little wonder it’s a song loved by so many.
