Robert “Noland” Pruitt Jr. was born to Robert Noland Pruitt Sr. & Lillie Pruitt in Henderson, KY. His musical journey started at a young age when his Grandmother Lillie Randolph put him in the youth choir at Greater Norris Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where he started to find his voice.
At the age of 8 years old Noland opened up for the Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones & The Nashville Super choir. At the age of 15 he performed at the New Artist Showcase hosted by Bobby Jones.
In 2005 he was a soloist for Bishop Joseph Walker III’s “You Can Make It Youth Crusade under the leadership of Dr. Judith McAallister.
In 2009 he was blessed with the opportunity to be a performer at the BRL Conference under the leadership of Kierra Sheard , all these events Noland were blessed to do without having any project out.
These were major opportunities that have helped him become the artist he is today. Noland is a graduate of Kentucky State University on a full ride vocal scholarship, where he was educated on the voice, music theory & skills that have matured his voice. He received his BA in Mass Communications “Public Relations”.
He is a Stellar Award performer with the Ricky Dillard and New G choir. Noland has sung BGV’s for Dr. Judith McAallster, Le’Andria Johnson & Eric Roberson.
He is an up& coming actor having recently worked on Tyler Perry’s upcoming TV sit-com “If loving you is wrong” & travels with playwright Alvin Moore Jr. starring in the BET hit stage play “A Mother’s Prayer” on the road. Noland prides himself as being a sold out young man for Christ. He continues to set out doing what God has called him to do minister through song to his generation and the world.
