Genesis is a Nigerian music group made up of a brother and sister, Ikechukwu Ugwu & Ukamaka Ugwu also known as Ikay and Ukay.
Their 1st single “Chukwu Idi mma” was released in January 2013 and was followed up by a music video in March 2013.
Their latest single “You do well”, an Afro-centric dance hall blend, was released on the 22nd of December 2014 to give people a song to dance to in a period of celebration and appreciation for the good things that God has done in their lives all year long. It features the latest dance step known as “Zigizo”, a local street step to make you loosen up in praise to God.
Genesis is currently managed by Tope Olaopa, CEO of Motech Music, who is also the group’s song Producer.
