[Music + Video] Obinigwe – AkuGod
Nigerian gospel artist AkuGod release powerful new single titled “Obinigwe”.
The song, whose title means “Father/God in heaven” in Igbo, is a deep expression of gratitude and reverence to God, reflecting the artist’s journey, faith, and calling.
“Obinigwe is more than just a song. It’s a reflection of my personal relationship with God, a testimony of His grace and greatness in my life, It’s a sound that connects spirit to Spirit, and I hope it becomes an anthem of hope for many” said AkuGod.
Born Stephen Ejike Oriaku, AkuGod hails from Imo State but was born in Kano and raised in a Christian home as one of five siblings.
AkuGod’s journey into music began during his early teens in secondary school, where he formed a group called MEC Rhymes with friends Marcus and Christopher.
Over the years, his musical influences evolved, but one thing remained constant his love for soulful, inspiring music that speaks to the heart and spirit.
