It promised to be a night of fun and excitement as Wole Oni’s Audacious Bold & Crispy, a show dedicated to jazz aficionados took center stage in Lagos on 28th December, 2014 at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel.
Commenting, the multi instrumentalist, music producer and CEO of WOMP described the event as one that set new standards in jazz circles in the country: “It was an evening of premium jazz music; an evening for mature minds. It was basically a celebration of the Wole Oni brand and performed with some of Nigeria’s best artistes. Lovers of good music in Nigeria could not afford to miss the quintessential event which closed down Lagos on December 28.
Artists that thrilled the audience are Gallant Stallion, Tosin Martins, Gloria Ibru, Yinka Davies, Jodie, Ara and Nosa Umaigba among a host of others.
Meanwhile, the show was anchored by Joseph Benjamin.
In a career that spans over two decades, Oni has emerged one of the most sought after music producers in the country and is the brain behind many gospel hits including Midnight crew Star’s Igwe.
