SOLUCHY, OBIORA OBIWON’S BIOLOGICAL SISTER, A WOMAN WITH A SOUND FROM HEAVEN DROPS THE LONG AWAITED E.P.
Soluchi Ogugua was born into a family of musicians.
Her father Sir. Humphrey Nwokolobia-Agu is the composer of the famous Nigeria Television Authority’s ‘Things Fall Apart’ movie soundtrack. Her brother is the popular Nigerian Urban Gospel Artiste Obiora Obiwon.
Soluchy (as she is fondly called) currently serves as Music & Worship Director at House on the Rock, The Refuge, Abuja, where she ministers with the choir and as a Psalmist. Beyond being a worship leader, she is also a Songwriter and is working on her first album that will capture her soulful and jazz feel mixed with a sultry voice.
Her E.P. titled ‘A New Sound’ is a foretaste of songs from the forthcoming album carefully crafted with quality, depth and lyrics, with the single “GOOD” already attracting attention.
A huge collaboration with big brother Obiora Obiwon is also expected in a few months.
