THE CALL TO WALK WITH GOD

God is calling this generation at this to walk uprightly in His big shoes, for me, this is a huge privilege. To walk in the shoes of God is an honour, but how willing are we to walk and to pay the price. God once told a patriarch of faith, He said to him,
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.”
(Genesis 17:1)
It’s about that time that this generation starts walking in those old shoes of moral ethics, which teaches and breeds humility and respect, and other acceptable norms that adds value to the society and world at large. I know that the world is rolling in a perverse orbit, rolling back to the “Garden of Eden” (supporting Genesis 3:7) when Man and Woman were naked, having no shame? If this modern day fashion of dressing dictates our world, then we can be rest assured that we will be dressing from half nakedness to total nakedness, rolling back to the Garden of Eden. What a pity! But I chose not to cry.
We were once subject to our parents, or some of our parents were subject to their parents and they came out in good shape how much more we? How painful it is, that these 21st century creations, fail to walk in those shoes that apprehended traits known for decency and moral indulgence. Sometimes I find it difficult to believe the notion; that a good tree will bear good fruits, not that it’s not true but scarcely evident nowadays. Many good tree bear bad fruits and the irony of life connote this; bad trees bear good fruit! Who is to blame, law of nature? That says “what goes up must come down” little did nature forget that the Sky, the Sun they are always up and won’t come down, which includes the Moon. They all disobey this principle, so that the law of day and night may be in her right order, still eclipse is inevitable. 2+2=4 in Nigeria is the same mathematics anywhere in the world; I don’t care how developed they are.
The reality is this, that the basic principles of life had been broken by what I believe, that they are two major invisible forces of the air led by the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2) (and corrected by the Prince of Peace, driving children of disobedience mad because they refuse to retain the knowledge of God in their heart, even when they did, it wasn’t mixed with faith in their heart (but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it”- Hebrews 4:2b). So they were handed over to a depraved mind to do that which is inconvenient, see (Romans 1:26-32).
It’s a gist about gays, lesbians, atheists and their father who walks in the shoes of destruction seeking to steal, to kill and to destroy (John10:10) as a roaring lion(not a lion-“like a lion”) Jesus is the LION of The Tribe of JUDAH, walking about seeking his children to devour(1Peter5:8b). They will all perish with the Devil if they don’t repent, even nations that are involved!
Look at that one wanting us reasonable Nigerians to accept and approve legal Gay practices and Lesbian Arts into our very own Laws and Constitution? NO! WE WON’T TRADE OUR COMMON SENSE FOR COMMON WEALTH.NO WAY!
Or is this not the height or apex of moral vandalism and human right exploitation?
I understand that our economy is full of importation of goods and service from our foreign trade partners, infact a dumping ground of foreign junks, I am not complaining, but whence should we sell our common sense and import MADNESS?
For the sake of foreign attraction and development? Imbibing foreign cultures and traditions that make humanity develop an incurable disease? Not that our culture here in Nigeria is the best but when we cry and our eyes are full of tears, it doesn’t stop us from seeing clear and to notify our members that we are walking towards a pit. Leave what belongs to a man to a man and allow women make use of their body in it purposeful nature of creation.
We were once an Apprentice to our colonial masters, Great Britain, I Hail! We learnt a great deal, even, we did learn fast and became Leaders of our own. They envy us to some extent, a nation so rich which I compare us to the promise land of Canaan flowing with milk and honey in which her people drink vinegar and shame because those “honorable servants (political leaders)” that we don’t pray for, finding themselves in place of power and authority, to work for us, chose to pocket the so called national cake. Nigeria, you are the Leader and we are the Apprentice, but we grow fast and become a Leader to you Nigeria, please be humble enough to be a faithful Apprentice; having a burden of responsibilities to our generation, born and unborn, they, looking unto us to teach them whatsoever elements that perpetuates for living and living good. Yea! We fail, Alas “we are developed?” because we now accept foreign doctrines, modernizing our cultures and tradition to fit 21st century global movement, forgetting how in time past, that virgins were adorned, how men weren’t cajoled to be hardworking-putting their hands into the plough of good works, how we praised our elders, led our infants to know the ways of the LORD in a world that will demand them to lose their moral orientation! How and when do we save their lot, if not now!“Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare his crying” (Proverbs 19:18)
This we knew, this our father chastised us and was grievous, this did our elders speak wise proverbs to sons of perdition, this some mothers caused the day they birth some children that could not attain unto the grace of moral’s high calling, this some adults caused the day their mother brought them to life, (the likes of those sons of perdition, generation of Judas-that are bombing Nigeria, kidnapping our young girls-(2014), please return them! We should contribute causes to forbid the day they were born, but NO! “he who has no sin should do that…),this we blame the GOVERNMENT forgetting that we are the government and its starts from our family, society and learning institutions, this is the “BODMAS” our colonial masters couldn’t perceive.
This I heard that our music industry is no longer an upcoming artist rather THE ARTIST corrupting young minds with their fruitless ideology of (even those vain ideology they themselves don’t live by, whence is the principle of practice what you preach?!); making this young Nigerian generation think life is about; money, power, fame, sex, fun. I once taught so, but glory to God! Yet, life in the Will of God is all of these (money, power, fame, sex, fun) has I earlier mentioned see Genesis 1:26-27, but having the ZOE kind of motive. Seek wisdom in aforetime when it said and not in vain that;
“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good necessary for edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers” (Ephesians 4:29)
This also I see and continuous experience that our technological gargets is our channel to reach the outside world, true but here we are, flooding the gates of our soul with perverse information, feeding the eyes with pornography, connecting with the most like-minded foolish mates online eventually blaming technology, FOR WHAT! She didn’t bore you, you created her, therefore, control her! (Genesis1:26-28) have positive dominion I am shouting at the top of my voice. Though our colonial master’s wish us well, this is why you can read at the moment and I can write knowledgably.
As an Apprentice, it is expected of a faithful one to walk in the shoes of his master. Very good, but a better Apprentice should walk skeptically behind is master if he seem to be moving towards a pit. If such a leader fails to retreat, I believe a unique Apprentice should not walk into the same pit. I taught I learnt back then in my secondary school that Nigeria gained independence 1stof October, 1960. How come we still tread the paths of our master’s mistakes, still walking in their ignorance? I was hoping we would walk in the shoes of their structural development and economic enablement. May we see the positive effect of “vision 2020” in the appearance of corruption and in the demonstration of craziness (democracy) in our leadership? Not visible, no not, curable!
In whose shoes are we walking really; as a nation, having such encourage able history! Walking in the Shoes of our heroes past could have been appreciable, but the constant thing in life is change. It’s obvious and clear to a blind man that the world is changing fast and running towards her end, from our heroes past to our present killer heroes! This is the evil and errors I have seen under the sun, for I returned and saw that this also, is a change, a negative change indeed! I observe the four criteria’s of changes; change to good, better, best, and worse. But rather, Better is preferable to best because we can be better than our best as a nation if we walk together with the concept of our national pledge; unity, peace and progress. Is that not it?
Such is life and such life is Biphasic as a friend once told me. We were left with choices even from the beginning (Genesis 2:16-17) to choose between good and evil, to walk in the shoes of our Maker or to walk in the shoes of mankind’s Back-Breaker-so called Devil. It is either you are made by God or broken by the devil or destroyed by yourself. Only these three personalities; God, Your humble self or the Devil-determines your life, yet you have a choice. On the better bargain, only one of these personalities should decide for you, enough of you in your life try a new You in Christ. No, not “Yourself”! You are not perfect and can’t make perfect decisions. Is it the Devil? There are three things involved; destruction, death and hell. Choose one! None I’m sure. Could it be God? There’s a lot to gain from Him, if you walk in His majestic Shoes. One, Love (1John 4:16b), two, Perfection (James 1:17) and (Genesis 17:1).
A lot blame the constant catalyst of change, in her emerging factor especially, technology (social media); has I wonder why such juggernaut of change should be put to blame. She is not guilty of the crime rather, the human evil motive allocated to her that she can’t reject. She was born to obey any motive of man, in which I am sure that in her original context, she was meant to make life flexible and better. Talk about A.K 47 and the Holy Bible, which is more dangerous?
