UK-based Nigerian gospel artist, Sunday Ekaidem, is back with a new single titled “The Rest & Best of My Life” part of his upcoming album slated for release later this year.

The song is a prayer of consecration and a declaration of commitment to God’s will, reminiscent of a soldier pledging allegiance to his commander.

“The Rest & Best of My Life” is born from a deeply personal moment of reflection during one of my prayer sessions in 2022. I found myself meditating on the incredible works of young men and women doing great things for God, both in various communities and online. In that sacred moment, I ask myself, “When these people were preparing for their current exploits, what was I doing with my life?”

This question led to a prayer of surrender. I began to tell God that, even though I couldn’t change my past, I would give Him the “Rest Of My Life” which I believed would be the best part of my life. From this prayer, the words of the song began to flow naturally: “Let the rest and the best of my life, be Yours, be Yours” says Sunday.

Sunday invites listeners to join him in offering their lives as a living sacrifice to God, trusting that the remainder of their days will be used for His purpose.
