“I was super bummed when my leg broke, it was uncomfortable and inconvenient, for sure, But I was aware of what had transpired with Forrest’s back and the miraculous turn around he had seen and the wake of music and prayer that was coming from what seemed to be a set back.
I think that’s one of the most beautiful things about the church — when you see God active and reliable in someone else’s experience, you believe it is possible for you. I was so thankful that Forrest let us in on his difficulty because instead of frustration or worry I immediately had a sense of expectation like, okay God, what are You up to? Whatever it is, I’m here for it.
That no matter what whether my leg is healed miraculously, or if it’s a long and arduous recovery, whatever comes my hope and my satisfaction and my joy is in the eternal Rock of Ages. That’s what I’m standing on. Not my circumstances” Crowder shares.
