Nigerian gospel singer, Liatu Aweh offers up her new Extended Play (EP) titled “Yabo Hills.”

The Hausa [a language predominantly spoken in the northern part of Nigeria] titled EP which simply translates to “Praise Hills” in English is a collection of Contemporary Praise songs, rendered in English and Hausa.

It is laced with urban instrumentation to give the Afrocentric vibe a Pop undertone.

Songs like “Sarai, Sarai (Remix),” “Mai Ceto Na,” and “God of Power” amongst others stand out for their cross-over instrumentation.

Liatu Aweh’s passion for music has had its root in her faith since childhood.

Growing up in a Christian household, she discovered her love for singing and found fulfillment in Gospel music melodies which became her source of comfort, relaxation, and strength.
