SOLUTION: FREDERICK DOUGLASS AND YOU

After weeks of procrastination, Frederick Douglass finally visited the clinic for a medical checkup. His doctor was unusually less busy, so it made things faster for Frederick. He complained to his doctor that he had treated himself during the course of the week inorder to stop an unending headache but all to no avail.
The Doctor picked up his pen from his left breast pocket with his right hand and tore a piece of paper, making his prescription look unofficial. Prescribing sets of drugs on a piece of paper didn’t look honorable to Frederick but he watched his doctor closely as he was writing on the piece of paper. When the doctor had made an end of his writing, he handed it over to Frederick Douglass.
He read it as if there was an exam at hand. To his surprise, the supposed drugs prescribed by the doctor were his name clearly written on the paper. He soon asked the doctor in amazement of his thoughts as he presumed that the doctor was making a joke out his predicament.
When the doctor saw that Frederick was stunned, he said;
“Are you surprised?”
Frederick replied, “Certainly, surprised and shocked, why write my name?”
The doctor said unto him, “The problem and solution to your unending headache is you!”
Frederick exclaimed, “I don’t understand Sir!”
His doctor replied and said, “You worry too much, full of fear, doubts, hatred, evil imaginations and in the company of bad friends who influence you negatively. Infact, you create most trouble for yourself and weary your body!”
Frederick soon realized that he never needed a pain killer drug to heal him.
Same goes for you, the responsibility of your life is in your hands. Therefore, you are responsible for your happiness or sorrow, headache or head-peace. Those pills you take to look good or those friends you keep, thinking that they will inspire or usher into destiny will give you serious headache. The book of the preacher, Ecclesiastes 3: 1 said and I quote;
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”
God created the world in Six days and had his rest on the seventh day. Same goes for you. There is a time to work, there is time to play. There is a time for your success to shine forth into limelight, wait for it. Don’t rush into it lest you rust in it. SEE HABAKKUK 2:1-3
